Engraving does not sit on the surface the way ink does. The laser cuts the name, date or logo into the material itself, so it cannot peel, fade or wash off. Wood, glass, metal, leather and slate, engraved in our Overland Park shop.

Engraved Into the Surface
The laser burns or cuts away a thin layer, leaving the mark below the surface where nothing can rub it off.

Most Orders in 5 to 7 Business Days
Measured from artwork approval. A name on a tumbler moves faster than a detailed logo across a set of forty awards.
Working to a banquet, a retirement date or a closing? Say so when you send the artwork and ask about Rush Service. We will tell you plainly whether the date works.
Local pickup is available at the Overland Park shop.
The Process
How an Engraving Order Runs
- 1 Tell us the piece and the wording A name, a date, a logo, a quote. Send what you have. Estimates are free.
- 2 Choose or supply the item Pick from what we stock, or bring your own. We will confirm the material takes a laser cleanly.
- 3 Approve the layout You see the wording, the font and the placement before anything is marked. Engraving is permanent, so this step is not rushed.
- 4 We engrave and you collect Typically 5 to 7 business days from approval. Pick up locally or arrange delivery with us.

Engraving Questions We Get Asked
Will you engrave just one item?
Yes. There is no minimum order. A single engraved gift is a normal order here, and most of our engraving work is exactly that.
Can you engrave something I already own?
Usually. Bring the piece in so we can check the material and the shape first. Engraving cannot be undone, so we would rather look at it than guess.
What materials can be laser engraved?
Wood, bamboo, leather, acrylic, slate, cork, glass, stainless steel, powder-coated tumblers, anodized aluminum and ceramic all mark well. Ask before buying an item if you are unsure about its material.
Does engraving wear off?
No. The mark is cut into the material rather than printed on top of it, so there is no layer to peel, crack or wash away. That is the main reason to choose engraving over printing.
How long does engraving take?
Most orders are finished within 5 to 7 business days of artwork approval. Quantity and design complexity affect it. Tell us your deadline up front and ask about rush service.
Can you engrave awards and plaques for a company?
Yes. Service awards, retirement pieces, recognition plaques, client gifts and executive desk sets are regular work. Standing business accounts can order by phone or email and be invoiced.
Can I order by phone or email instead of the website?
